The website itself does not use advertising trackers. When you use Aether, Yusuf's AI assistant, the site processes what you write so it can answer and, if you choose, pass the conversation to Yusuf.

Choose whether returning visits are measured

The site counts public page views, article reads, project-link clicks and assistant opens to understand which writing and projects are useful. These counts include the page, referring website name or campaign label, and country. They do not include your name, email, IP address, full referring address or a device fingerprint.

If you allow returning-visit measurement, the site also keeps a random browser ID for up to one year and a visit ID that expires after 30 minutes of inactivity. This helps count repeat visits and the sources that bring readers back. Those IDs are not joined to chat text or contact details. Without permission, page and action counts remain unlinked. Traffic records are deleted after one year.

You can change these choices at any time through Visitor privacy in the footer. Turning measurement off removes the browser and visit IDs from this browser. A separate preference cookie remembers your choice. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals also stop traffic measurement. There is no advertising or tracking across other websites.

What the assistant stores

The assistant stores the conversation, a random conversation identifier, and any contact details you choose to share in the chat. It records whether a chat came from an excluded or automated browser, whether its opening came from a link, button or typed message, and the source and campaign label when available. It also stores a one-way hash derived from your network address to enforce abuse limits without keeping the address itself.

Clicking a paragraph's bot or “Ask about this” after selecting text prepares a question with the chosen text. Nothing is sent until you submit your question. The assistant then receives and stores the question, chosen text and page address together. This browser tab keeps the displayed chat history as you move between pages on this site.

Conversations that do not lead to an ongoing relationship are deleted after 90 days. You can ask for your information to be removed sooner.

Who processes it

The site runs on Cloudflare, which provides hosting, storage and fallback AI processing. Fireworks AI normally processes assistant messages to generate replies. Do not put confidential, regulated, or highly sensitive information into the chat.

Contact requests

If you ask the assistant to pass something to Yusuf, it saves the conversation for him to review. It may ask for your name and preferred email if you want a reply. You do not have to share an email, and the assistant does not promise that Yusuf is available or will reply.
